Does anyone have an API for the hospitality controls?Īlso, I was given a small word document from Samsung support with RS232 commands, but it is basically power control with no list of responses. I can use the remote and power it off and it will stop the reboot process, but cannot get back into the settings to change anything.ĭoes anyone here know of a command, IR remote keystroke, or any other way of setting these displays to factory default?Īlso, I was given a small word document from Samsung support with RS232 commands, but it is basically power control with no list of responses. Power On, 'Smart TV' logo, screen goes black, standby LED goes dark, and then it does it again 5 or so seconds later. I am now receiving strings back from the display on my receive pin, but the display itself basically in a constant power cycle. It was set at UART and so I decided to try the next one on the list, logic. I found a setting within the Samsung service menu for the rs232 port. When I first read the RS-232 specs I thought sending command 'xAAx11x01' would turn the display ON. The issue here is that I have been fighting with a Samsung HG55NE690 display coming off of the com port of a DM-RMC-4K-100-C.Īfter hours of trying to gain any control (flipping tx and rx pins, new receivers, different displays, different baud rates, etc.), I have finally found the issue. My first project is to control my Samsung 22' display model DB22D-T. I know this is getting past the point of being a Crestron issue, but you all know more about manufacturer issues than anyone I can talk to at consumer brand tech support.
